TC 302-CNC Workshop: The World of Carbon-Based Nanomaterials in Concrete

The “World of Carbon-Based Nanomaterials in Concrete” workshop, organized by RILEM TC 302-CNC, aims to bring together individuals from diverse academic and non-academic backgrounds, including PhD students, Postdocs, and industry professionals working in the area of carbon-based nanomaterials (CBNs) for applications in civil engineering and concrete.
This event offers an opportunity to engage, share experiences, and discuss key topics, such as the dispersion of CBNs in cementitious matrices, their impact on fresh properties, and their influence on the mechanical and durability characteristics of CBN-modified cementitious matrices in Portland cement-based binders. Additionally, the workshop will delve into the effects of CBNs on smart properties of cement-based materials.
The workshop is set to be an engaging experience, featuring a keynote lecture that will provide unique insights into the potential and challenges associated with CBN-modified concrete. It will feature interactive sessions, allowing attendees to showcase their research through a poster and actively engage in open panel discussions. These sessions are designed to nurture substantive exchanges, offering valuable feedback on research findings from a diverse array of international experts.
Please note that this workshop has limited capacity for only 25 participants. If you are interested, complete your registration, and submit the following documents:

  • A 2-page CV
